Who We Are
Founder & Archaeologist
The principal of Martin Archaeology Consulting is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, and has a Masters in Anthropology from the University of Mississippi where his research focused on archaeological geophysics. He also holds a Bachelors in Science in Anthropology with a concentration in Forensic Anthropology from Western Carolina University. Coursework has been completed for his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences with a concentration in archaeological geophysics from the University of Memphis.

Paul has worked with the non-profit History Flight, Inc. a private MIA search and recovery team in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Philippines. He is a voting member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Standards Board Consensus Body for Dogs and Sensors. Currently working with his 6th canine, a chocolate Labrador Retriever, Abby.
Co-Founder, Genealogist, and Historical Researcher
Cynthia is a professional genealogist and historical researcher having completed studies in archaeology and history with a focus on early American History.
Janie Merickel, MBA
Remote Project Manager
Janie oversees all project proposals and ensures that projects are being completed on time and on budget.
Archaeologist
Lori has her MA in Anthropology from Eastern Carolina University and a BA in Anthropology with a concentration in forensics from Western Carolina University.
Lab Specialist and Field Tech
Thomas is a USMC Veteran and holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of West Florida.
